The Radix Table, designed by Patricia Anastassiadis for Artefacto’s Vér collection, is a striking fusion of form and function, inspired by the organic curvatures found in nature.
With its sculptural base and harmonious blend of wood, marble, and artisanal glass, the piece exemplifies Anastassiadis’s commitment to refined craftsmanship and natural elegance
Versatile in both size and function, the Radix Table is available in various dimensions and top designs, making it adaptable as a dining table, welcome table, or even a side table—seamlessly integrating into a range of interior environments.
For all its design qualities, the Radix Table has won a 2024 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Recalling the radiance of nature, these pieces reveal a contemporary design with a timeless appeal, a feature of the designer’s partnership with the brand.
This piece was born from a desire to connect with nature.
Patricia searched for traits that evoke movement, transformation, and harmony and decided to translate them into small, medium, and large furniture, with great visual effect and high ergonomic performance.
In that sense, Patricia designed pieces that seem to flirt with artistic creations.
The idea was to shorten the distance between furniture and art. However, at the same time, they have a sculptural character, they are also extremely functional.
Patricia thought about morphosis: the way an organism is formed, that is, the search for natural beauty and ergonomics.
Following this concept, one of the greatest highlights of this collection is the woodwork, brought together industry and craftsmanship.
