Global Design News and The Chicago Athenaeum announce awarded winners for Prize Designs for Modern Furniture + Lighting: ‘the Best New Designs for 2022
s ome of the world’s most prominent names in the furniture and lighting industry have won this year’s historic remake of MoMA’s 1950 program: Prize Designs for Modern Furniture + Lighting® 2022.
Launched this year by Global Design News and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, Prize Designs for Modern Furniture + Lighting drew an amazing number of submissions by some of the best and most innovative designers and manufacturers from over 24 countries.
For 2022, an international jury assembled to select the best new products from several hundreds of submissions.
Over 60 new products from 24 nations were selected for their outstanding and cutting-edge design, sustainability, and new technological advances.
