Poltrona Frau’s 2025 Collection revolves around the poetic concept of “The Five Seasons,” embracing not only Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter but also a Fifth Season—a symbolic blend of nature, emotion, and sensory harmony. This unique season invites individuals to design their own inner sanctuaries, uniting classic refinement with innovative craftsmanship and a contemporary outlook. CEO Nicola Coropulis describes the collection as a celebration of the seasons’ transformative power and their capacity to inspire personal expression, rooted in the Japanese concept of “go-ai,” which emphasizes the harmony between nature and living spaces.

Anniversaries and Artistic Tributes
The brand marks the 60th anniversary of Gio Ponti’s iconic Dezza armchair with a limited edition of 60 exclusive pieces. These versions are upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather and feature prints derived from Ponti’s unpublished illustrations, highlighting his fascination with numerology and the motif of hands. This limited series not only honors a design legacy but also aligns with the seasonal theme of transformation and artistic reinterpretation.
Sofas: Comfort Meets Elegance
The new Blisscape sofa by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba evokes the sense of calm and conviviality inspired by Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day.” Defined by spacious cushions and clean geometry, it sits atop a sophisticated leather platform, with hidden mechanisms that adjust to the user’s posture and needs. Enhancements continue with the Parka sofa by Draga & Aurel, featuring a 60° concave corner module and a pouf reminiscent of a chaise longue. The GranTorino series by Jean-Marie Massaud sees refinements to cushion structure, armrest height, and headrest angles for improved comfort and aesthetics.
A Complete Home: Night Systems and Storage
Poltrona Frau expands into bedroom furnishings with the DressCove Night System, the brand’s first modular wardrobe system. It allows the creation of freestanding or built-in closets with trunk-like elegance. Luxurious Pelle Frau leather combines with wood and integrated lighting, drawers, and specialized compartments for accessories. A novel pole system replaces conventional wardrobe sides, allowing for flexible layouts and personal customization.
Armchairs and Seating Innovations
The Archibald armchair line now includes fixed wooden and swivel bases, while the Downtown Lounge evolves from its office predecessor with an ergonomic backrest and adjustable headrest. The new bases—metal swivel or solid ash—are shared across the armchair and matching pouf for stylistic cohesion.
Dining Reimagined
The Mesa Due table by Lella and Massimo Vignelli expands with new elliptical marble tops in two sizes, supported by a reinforced central column and metal structure for durability and elegance. Seating additions inspired by Kensaku Oshiro’s Lepli pouf bring new chairs and armchairs with a cinched belt-like design. Available in fixed and swivel versions, their reclined and enveloping backrests provide both comfort and sophistication.

The Duo Collection: Bedroom Elegance
An expansion of the Duo Collection—a collaboration with Ceccotti Collezioni and Roberto Lazzeroni—introduces the Duo Bed, which mirrors the curved form of the Duo Chair. With ash wood “L”-shaped legs and an elegant trim, the bed is complemented by matching bedside tables with sculpted drawers and customizable tops. The Duo Chest of Drawers stands out with six drawers, a hidden compartment with removable trays, and tops in Calacatta marble or lacquered glass. The Duo Vanity and Duo Valet Stand—inspired by Japanese katana stands—highlight organic silhouettes and burnished brass accents. Finally, the Duo Triptych Mirror unfolds with ash veneer panels to create an architectural visual experience.
New Collaborations and Expansions
Poltrona Frau strengthens its ongoing partnership with Fornasetti, presenting a re-edition of the 1919 armchair and a new interpretation of Jean-Marie Massaud’s Isidoro trunk, now a drinks cabinet upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather with Fornasetti’s “Ultime Notizie” illustration.
A fresh collaboration with Leica introduces the Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet tailored to the Leica Cine 1 smart laser TV. At 280 cm long, it includes side drawers, a projector shelf, a concealed back door, and remote-controlled screen access. Finishes remain true to the original—mocha-stained ash or leather—with easy cable management.
Innovations in Materials: Pelle Frau® Soulful and Textile Collection
Two new materials set the tone for the 2025 collection. Pelle Frau® Soulful expands the sustainable “Impact Less” line with a thicker texture, refined sheen, and seven new colour options among twelve total references. Meanwhile, the 2025 Textile Collection introduces three fabric families in updated hues to align with the season’s design mood.
Beautilities and Lifestyle Offerings
The Beautilities line continues to bring Poltrona Frau’s hallmark quality into everyday items, enhanced by collaborations with artists. New lighting designs include the Moonbeam and Foliage lamps by Six N. Five (Ezequiel Pini) and the floor-standing Nymph lamp by Sebastian Herkner. Travel accessories designed by Carlotta Fortuna include a weekend bag, backpack, and leather card/passport holders featuring Simona Cremascoli’s patterns.
The brand’s tableware line, co-branded with Giobagnara, now includes a picnic basket, raised tray, and champagne cooler. The Games Collection expands with luxury versions of Connect Four and Tic Tac Toe crafted from Pelle Frau leather and wood—designed for both home and travel use.
