Miami Bay Towers is a forward-looking mixed-use development set to transform Miami’s skyline and waterfront. Located on the former Miami Herald site, it spans 22,890 m² between Downtown and Brickell, with 240 meters of prime Biscayne Bay frontage, facing the Venetian Islands. Its strategic position ensures direct access to Bicentennial Park, PAMM, and the People Mover system, enhancing urban integration.
The architectural concept features four sculptural, polyhedral towers that break from conventional forms. Their angled geometries and cascading setbacks maximize bay and city views, reduce visual overlap, and improve daylight and natural ventilation—ideal for Miami’s climate.
Two multifunctional podiums support the towers. Podium A hosts two residential buildings with amenities like a spa, sports bar, parking, and 48 Bay Residences. Podium B combines a residential and a mixed-use tower, including a 300-room hotel, business spaces, and wellness facilities.
Residences are offered in three types: Sky Residences (500–800 m²), Panoramic Residences (277–332 m²), and Bay Residences (150–190 m²). The hotel adds 50,100 m² of premium hospitality space, enhancing the site’s urban vibrancy.
Structurally, the towers use reinforced vertical cores and angled perimeter columns to transfer loads efficiently to the podiums. This frees up the façades for clean lines and light play, while cantilevers and setbacks add both expressive form and wind resistance.
At ground level, a new bayfront promenade invites public engagement, linking to marinas and nearby attractions. An existing platform, once used for antennae, is repurposed as a landscaped pier, enriching community access to the waterfront.
Given the site’s challenging terrain, parking and services are elevated within podiums and hidden behind active façades that mirror the towers’ geometry. This ensures visual continuity and a unified identity.
Phased construction allows for efficient development while preserving architectural integrity. Miami Bay Towers blends architecture, nature, and urban energy—creating a bold new coastal landmark.
