Lotte Gum holds a profoundly special place among the South Koreans.
During the challenging 1960s, a time marked by the aftermath of war, Lotte Gum served as a comforting presence, allowing people to momentarily forget the hardships of their daily lives.
In 1967, Lotte became the first company in South Korea to produce and introduce chewing gum.
Even after the passage of 50 long years, it remains the leading gum brand in the country, sharing time and memories with the people.
Consumers of this era regard Lotte Gum not merely as a simple gum brand, but as a symbol of something more.
The reason why it can play a role as nostalgia to consumers is because of the very first TV commercial jingle.
The song “Lotte Gum,” composed by singer-songwriter Yoon Hyung Ju, has become so familiar that it is considered a “folk song” that can be hummed not only by consumers of that time but also by present-day consumers, transcending generations.
This product has been meticulously designed with sleek and elegant lines, inspired by the shape of the gum; Xylitol.
Its external form boasts simplicity and minimalism, while the transparent cover unveils an intricately detailed structure and delicate design, providing users with visual delight.
The components used in the device and the precise gears have been expertly crafted, showcasing the skills and craftsmanship of professionals.
Through extensive research, the optimal structure was implemented and is a reflection of the aspiration to fully convey the value inherent in the brand of Xylitol gum to consumers.
Despite its eye-catching exterior and complex structure, the usage of this device is remarkably straightforward.
Simply rotate the handle at the bottom, and as the music played by the music box fills the air, the gum is dispensed.
Should you desire to enjoy the gum without music, a quick dispensing button is available for the user’s convenience.
This simple method of use aims to flawlessly deliver the brand and value of xylitol to consumers over an extended period of time, embodying the essence we wish to communicate.
