Coche by Fiorenzo Dorigo of Dorigo Design and manufactured by Seatfort is a fresh and minimalist work chair that solves practical and aesthetic problems seamlessly.

Coche was awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Its smooth and durable plastic shell contains a small, dedicated, tilting mechanism made of aluminum slightly visible from underneath.

All of this attention to detail gives this chair adjustability and a comfortable rocking motion.

The upholstered padded seat protrudes from the front of the plastic tub like a surprise, lightening the overall design and perfectly enclosing the mechanism underneath.

And even more surprisingly, all of it is locked into place with just one hidden screw.

Optional internal padding for the backrest further enhances the comfort, while the different upholsteries expand the collection’s customization possibilities.
