“The time it takes to make a well-made lamp is the time it takes to make a lamp well-made,” explains designer Enzo Catellani.
Ettorino table lamp is a versatile, articulated, and colorful table lamp designed by Enzo Catellani for Catellani & Smith, which is part of a collection consisting of table and floor lamps in four different variations.
Catellani’s Ettorino table lamp won the “Best Table Lighting of the Year” at the 2022 Prize Designs for Modern Furniture + Lighting from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and Global Design News.
Ettorino table lamp is distinguished by function and details by having simple and elegant metal structure, an iron base, an aluminum tube that houses a cob led light source, and a small dancing red silhouette, which seems to “coordinate” the movable arm of the lamps, thanks to a patent-pending system.
The lamp is dimmable and available in black or white finishes, as well as in a colorful version that mixes primary colors such as blue, yellow, and red.
Ettorino’s table version has an arm and head that can rotate at 350° and it has been designed to last over time since the joints, the tubular diffuser, and the LED light source can be easily replaced.
