This is the story of a fallen angel. More precisely, the wings of a fallen angel, found by chance by the side of the road. A little further on, just 3 arcs of circles, abandoned. Probably from a wheel or a forged hoop.
The interest of an object often lies in what it conveys, in the way we associate it with a thought or an image. It is also in the simplicity of its construction and components that poetry is revealed.

Angel A is one such object. Soft and powerful at the same time, poetic at times. But it’s also a design object that meets important ergonomic and comfort requirements.
This chair with its short back is designed to slide most of its volume under a desk. It can therefore be placed in a hotel room, for example. Its short backrest supports the exact position of the loins.
The fragmentation of the backrest and armrest into two curved wings not only creates a feeling of envelopment and well-being. The tubular structure in the shape of a hoop is characterized by its isostatic, including a segment of tube clamped in the center of the arch at the rear. The fixing points for the various elements of the chair, the wings and the seat, coincide with the articulation points.
The Angel A is available in several versions.
