VeeZy by the designers of Vestel UX/UI Design Group for Vestel Electronics Corp. is an app developed for smart homes and their homeowners to operate and monitor their home appliances.

For its user-friendly and eco-friendly design, VeeZy has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Today, smart houses offer a very secure, practical, safe environment.

VeeZy smart home appliances are part of this smart environment, working with VeeZy’s mobile app and TV app developed for users to control and monitor their connected devices (e.g. washing machine) remotely anytime.

This gives users freedom and power because they always know about their home appliances with the help of notifications from VeeZy.

With the new family account feature, different users in the same house can remotely control the same device and this brings the individuality feature to the community of the mobile application, creating a social investment opportunity to sell VeeZy products to the enhanced consumer mass.

The architecture of VeeZy mobile app supports to add new devices, functions and features with its flexible structure open to development.

Thanks to VeeZy’s meticulously created, flexible software and design architecture, the application easily adapts to new devices and features that will be added.

Users can also track their electricity consumption levels.

The user’s existing device is kept available to development with the new features and programs that will be added to the application.

At the same time, all features are made available to the usage of visually impaired users with VoiceOver and Talkback compatibility.

The VeeZy application has an easily understandable and usable UX / UI design and information architecture.

Thanks to the application, remote commands can be given to the devices and the status of the devices can be learned.

It provides convenience to the customer with its specialized functions such as Remote Control, Assistant, User Scenarios, and Easy Bill.

Consistent UI and information architecture results in unified UX and enables users to control devices intuitively.

VeeZy mobile app’s interface is designed with the aim of easy understandable usage while considering Vestel smart devices’ design style and today’s aesthetic values.

Control and configuration screens which are separately designed for each device group, provide user experience with simple and coherent visual architecture.

With the help of Easy Bill feature of VeeZy which is for Vestel air conditioners, users can track their daily, weekly, and monthly energy consumption.

By being aware of these information, users are always conscious about their usage and might be more inclined to change their behavior of use according to decrease their consumption.

Also, almost each device has Eco mode which is also an option for users to continue using their appliances by saving energy.

VeeZy creates a unique system design by combining the valuable physical features of the specific devices and the digital possibilities of the mobile application with the wishes of the users.

‘Be a Chef’ can suggest adaptable receipts for different types of ovens for especially novice customers by providing hybrid designing techniques.
