Designed by Joaquín Pérez-Goicoechea and Nasser B. Abulhasan of AGi architects, the Tamdeen Square towers are a group of three 40-story towers featuring luxury apartments, hotel rooms, and numerous retail stores located in the Sabah Al Salem district in Kuwait City.

Real estate firm Tamdeen Group requested from AGi Architects to blend cutting-edge design, innovation, and outstanding quality standards in order to create a new community with top-notch amenities.

Regarding the residential aspect, Tamdeen Square comprises three impressive 40-story high-rise residential towers, one of the highest towers in Kuwait, that are home to 256 sea view apartments elegantly constructed and finished to the highest international standards.

Every floor comprises three apartments sharing a common service area located in the central part of each tower, which houses facilities and circulation including the stairwell.

Each apartment has two dedicated elevators, massing six passenger elevators for one building.

There is also a dedicated passenger elevator for the penthouse too, located from 36th to 37th floors.

The interiors are designed with a modern aesthetic that also references the locality.

Traditional fabrics and decorative elements are used to complement contemporary furnishings sourced from premium brands.

Moreover, a service elevator and two-car elevators also serve the needs of each tower.

Each tower is equipped with facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, multipurpose areas, and parking area.

The towers rise up from a podium that houses the parking areas.

This podium elevates the lower residences, improving their views of the sea, and creates an enhanced connection between the common areas and an urban garden in front of the development.

“The design is the result of an in-depth research we developed on the local lifestyle of Kuwaiti society,” explains AGi Architects.

“Our aim was to find alternative approaches to housing in the country that are socially relevant, culturally grounded, and context-driven.”
