Each year, our outreach to the design, corporate, and manufacturing community grows exponentially.
Global Design News is a unique, project-based online publication that showcases the latest in the best new buildings, building elements, interiors, landscape architecture, urban planning, product design, graphics and packaging design, and fashion, as well as the visionaries that create them.
Entrants are invited to submit completed works in differing categories that reflect GDN’s editorial coverage, as well as the interests and obsessions of our readers.
Each editorial is based on several criteria—strength of the presentation, evidence of innovation, creative use of new technology, sustainability, and most importantly, Good Design.

Elena Sbokou is an Art & Design Historian and holds a PgDip in Art History and Theory (UCL, London, UK), an MA in Curating Contemporary Design (Kingston University, London, UK), and she is a Ph.D. candidate in Contemporary Design History (Queen Mary University, London, UK).
She has collaborated as a curator and research associate at the Design Museum in London, the Dana Research Centre and Library [Science Museum], The Museum of London, The Surface Area Dance Theatre, and the V&A Museum in London.
She has also been an Art History and Theory lecturer in various educational institutions (i.e. Bolton University etc.)

Claudia Donà is an Italian Journalist and Design Critic, as well as a Collection and Exhibition Curator.
Claudia holds a Ph.D. in History of Modern Art from the Università Statale of Milan and the expertise on the Art Biennial of Venice.
She has worked in prestigious projects and organizations, including the Salone del Mobile di Milano, Alchimia, the group promoting the revolution of New Design in Italy, FAAR Foundation (today FAR), FADI, the ADI Foundation for Italian Design.

Sharon is an architect, design journalist, and founder of Consulting 4 Creatives, where she advises architects and the institutions that engage them on the ‘best practices’ to advance design excellence.
Based in New York City and Princeton, New Jersey, she divides her time between professional practice and writing about design. She has worked in the offices of leading global architects, among them Moshe Safdie and Richard Meier, and held editorial posts with Abitare, World Architecture News, and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
Sharon is a contributing writer for The Architects Newspaper, Architectural Record, The Art Newspaper, Competitions, Il Giornale dell’ Architettura, Interior Design, and Modern and currently serves as an editor of the Metropolitan Arts Press, Ltd.
Christian Narkiewicz-Laine

Christian Narkiewicz-Laine is an architecture and design critic, formerly the architecture critic for the Chicago Sun-Times and editor of Inland Architect magazine.
He has authored numerous books on the subjects of architecture and design and he has served as the editor for Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd. and editor for Global Design + Urbanism.
He currently serves as the Museum President of The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and a director of The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
