Celebrating Louis Vuitton’s second collaboration with artist Yayoi Kusama, the Champs-Élysées flagship store gets a massive makeover with a giant Yayoi Kusama sculpture peering over the building.
Spread over the entirety of the Art Déco building constructed by Georges Vuitton in 1912 are Kusama’s colored polka dots which dance across the scaled terraces.
To the left, a giant sculpture of the Japanese artist is seen in the motion of planting the painted specks on the building while at ground level, floating metal balloons hover over the entry hall and more colorful orb details decorate the surrounding floor-to-ceiling display windows.
This year’s collaboration with Yayoi Kusama marks the fashion house’s second time working with the now 93-year-old artist following their first joint venture in 2012.
